These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Hotbook.app ("Hotbook", "we", "our", or "us"). By using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of Service

Hotbook is a hotel reservation facilitation platform. We do not own or operate hotels.

We provide:

  • Pay-at-hotel booking discovery
  • Free-cancellation hotel listings
  • Proof reservation service
  • Auto-cancel protection (where enabled)

All hotel stays are subject to the hotel's own terms and policies.

2. Booking Modes

Reserve for Proof

  • Temporary reservation service
  • Intended for documentation purposes
  • Subject to hotel cancellation policies
  • Includes optional auto-cancel protection

Book to Stay

  • Standard hotel booking
  • Pay at property
  • Subject to hotel terms

3. Service Fee

For "Reserve for Proof", Hotbook charges a service fee (currently $8, subject to change).

This fee covers:

  • Reservation processing
  • Monitoring
  • Automated cancellation handling
  • Platform costs

The service fee is not a hotel payment.

4. Auto-Cancel Protection

When enabled, Hotbook will attempt to cancel the reservation before the hotel's penalty window.

However:

  • Cancellation timing depends on supplier systems
  • Users remain responsible for reviewing deadlines
  • Hotbook does not guarantee penalty avoidance in all cases

Users should always verify cancellation policies.

5. Hotel Policies Control

All bookings remain subject to:

  • Hotel cancellation rules
  • No-show policies
  • Property terms

Hotbook displays supplier information but is not responsible for hotel policy changes.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Use the service lawfully
  • Review cancellation deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with visa or entry requirements

Hotbook does not guarantee visa approval or entry permission.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Misuse the platform
  • Create fraudulent bookings
  • Attempt to bypass fees
  • Abuse internal or promotional access
  • Interfere with system operations

We may suspend accounts for violations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hotbook is not liable for:

  • Hotel actions or policies
  • Visa decisions
  • Travel disruptions
  • Missed cancellations due to user error
  • Indirect or consequential damages

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Hotbook constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
