Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled on Hotbook.app.
1. Service Fee (Reserve for Proof)
The Hotbook service fee (currently $8) is charged for:
- Reservation processing
- Monitoring
- Auto-cancel handling
- Platform usage
General Rule
The service fee is non-refundable once the reservation has been successfully created, except in the limited situations below.
2. Eligible Refund Situations
A refund may be issued if:
- Hotbook fails to create the reservation
- A confirmed technical error occurs
- Duplicate charges occur
- The supplier rejects the booking immediately
Refunds are reviewed case-by-case.
3. Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds will generally NOT be provided for:
- Change of mind
- Visa refusal
- Embassy decisions
- User-initiated cancellation
- Failure to travel
- Hotel policy changes
- Failure to read cancellation deadlines
The service fee covers the reservation service itself.
4. Hotel Charges
Hotbook typically lists pay-at-hotel properties.
Any charges made by the hotel (including no-show fees) are controlled by the hotel, subject to hotel policy, and not collected by Hotbook. Users must review hotel terms carefully.
5. Processing Time
If approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, depending on the payment provider.

7. Policy Updates
Hotbook may update this Refund Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the latest version.
